Degree to which the student failed to assign proper credit for any of the written material in the paper. (If more than 10% of the paper was not in the student’s own words and no proper credit was assigned to the original author, refuse to mark the paper and require a re-write.)
4. Effective application of synthesis, analysis and critical thinking within this review of the literature that covers the related body of knowledge. (This is not to be just a report on what the article, book or other reference source has said, but an indication as to how it relates to the topic of the paper showing either support or a possible contrary point of view.)
2. Quality of reading material cited in the review meets acceptable academic standards including a significant proportion of respected books and peer reviewed articles from respected journals; and not including references to questionable sources such as Wikipedia, or other non-academic sources of questionable quality (or only to a minimal extent if you think they are appropriate).
3. Quantity of references cited meets the minimum expected standard or better containing at least 20 academic papers plus at least 10 industry reference articles addressing the subject at hand or an additional other 10 academic sources. (at least 30 respectable sources).
