Reflection on SECRET 4-Nothing is new: Everything that happened in the past will happen again

As you have learned in the first module, we are constantly surrounded by media. Because of this, you should begin to

recognize examples of the concepts presented in each module in your daily interactions with different forms of
media.
In the text, Hanson presents “The Seven Secrets of the Media They’ Don’t Want You to Know.” In a series of four
assignments, I will assign one of the “Secrets” for you to focus on. You will write a response describing how the
assigned “Secret” stood out to you in the module and how you understand it in your own words.
Next, provide TWO real-life current examples of how you see it working in the media world around you. Be as specific
as you can.
You must include a link to your examples and give a full reference to your outside sources in the text of your post.
This means the author, headline, publication/website, and date.
Your assignment should be at least 500 words in total.
