You are to write a report on a non-profit organization that is committed to criminal justice reform. In the report you must answer the following question prompts, but in essay form (meaning you need to have an introduction paragraph with a thesis statement, as well as a conclusion paragraph). Also, your ideas need to flow together and the paragraphs need to be connected logically.
1. What is the name of the non-profit? What are the history and the mission of the non-profit?
2. Who is the Executive Director? How many people serve on the Board of Directors? Does the non-profit employ staff? If so, who are the staff, and what is each staff member’s role?
3. What issues is the non-profit focused on? (Briefly summarize what those issues are.) What is the nature of the non-profit’s work?
4. How can people get involved with the non-profit? What recommendations does the non-profit have for individuals who want to take action? Are people able to donate? If so, explain what that process is.
