Research Presentation Slide Deck
You will create an instructive slide deck, targeted to other students in the health science/health professions.  The topic you select should be the same as the one you selected for your annotated bibliography. In your slide
deck, you will follow the guidelines below: 

• Your name and the title of your proposal: 1 slide 
• An introduction to the trauma and health issue—why is it important? Who is affected? How many people are
affected and where? 2 slides 
• What does other research have to say about this trauma and health problem? (you can use the studies that you
included in your annotated bibliography) 2 slides 
• What are the barriers/problems with addressing this issue? 1 slide 
• What are some examples of approaches to addressing this particular issue? Consider how this has been addressed
through programs, policies, therapeutic approaches, awareness campaigns, etc. 2 slides 
• What do you think would be a good site to apply one of these approaches to, based on where the need is and
what has been shown to work? For example: in schools, social media targeted to a specific population 1 slide 
• Conclude with how the approach you selected may contribute to the trauma and health problem you identified: 1
slide 
• References in APA style: 1 slide
