authenticity) driving three (perceptions, trust, and purchase behavior) with
the latter being very broad indeed. 

This also makes it hard to understand
whether the research will eventually develop in the direction of quantitative
or qualitative data collection and analysis, which would indeed affect the
sampling area. 

For a start, you may not use both
random (probability) and quota (non-probability) sampling, but you may argue
that quota sampling is the best non-probability approximation of probability
sampling if the latter is not achievable. Most importantly, please define your
population of interest to begin with: Who would you like to study and why? This
should be defined starting with the introduction to your project.
