Strategic Analysis Paper Guidelines
This is an individual assignment. You will select a company of your choice for an in-depth study on ONE of the following existing strategy approaches:
1. diversification strategy
2. mergers & acquisitions strategy
3. strategic alliances strategy
4. competitive strategy
5. international entry strategy
Existing Strategy:
– For example, Proctor and Gamble has a wide variety of consumer goods that are broken down into segments such as (Baby Care, Fabric Care, Family Care), etc.
– Narrow down your selection to just one segment (Baby Care), or one product (Pampers), and discuss the issues as they relate to (1 of the 5) existing strategy approaches listed above.
– For more help, refer to chapter 5 (The Generic Competitive Strategies) and identify one for discussion.
