Overview
For this assignment you will view a case study/passage/vignette and decide whether the case/passage of Andrew, Pranav and
the Young Storyteller exemplifies the main concepts of leadership discussed in the first practice section, “Model the Way” in
Chapters 3 and 4.
Instructions
Part 1a. Read/re-read the case/vignette of Andrew, Pranav and the Young Storyteller Foundation of pages 56-58 of the text.
Part 1b. In your own words, discuss whether you feel Andrew and/or Pranav exemplifies or fails to exemplify one or more of the
following behaviors associated with this first Practice section (from the Leadership Practices Inventory (LPI): Practice 1 / Section 1 Behaviors: Model the Way
1.1. “Sets a personal example of what he/she expects of others”
· Do/does he/they set a personal example of behavior and expectations?
1.2. “Spends time and energy making certain that the people he/she works with adhere to the principles and standards that we
have agreed on”
