There is much evidence on both sides of the debate when it comes to the proper amount of regulation for the financial markets and institutions. Personally, I believe in more regulation but efficient process. As a CFE, I think one of the primary weaknesses lies in the way monitoring and supervision is done – mostly in an antiquated manner.
