This is not a research paper, but an opportunity to reflect on your experiences and observations using a social psychological lens. [MO 2.6, MO 2.7]
Instructions
- Take one concept from Module 2 (e.g., self-discrepancies, self-regulation, durability and impact biases) and describe the concept fully.
- Pick a(n) newsworthy event, self-observation, everyday interaction, social media source, or TV or film source (hereafter referred to as the event) that demonstrates or relates to the concept. Describe the event fully.
- Describe how this event relates to the concept that you have chosen.
- Describe how this concept and your reinterpretation of this event is related to social psychology.
No citations are required. The writing must be in your own words. In total, this journal entry should be 1 to 2 pages (250 to 500 words) using 12-point Times New Roman and 1-inch margins.
