You
will explore a ‘healthy ageing’ topic portrayed in a media presentation or
article. The healthy ageing topic could be about exercise or social
groups or volunteer work for example. You will prepare a presentation that will
articulate your analysis of the experience of healthy ageing portrayed and
relate this to a theory of ageing.
You
will provide a separate transcript that includes a reference list. The
transcript is a copy of the script you prepared for your narration in the PowerPoint. I WILL DO THE NARRATION.
Task Instructions:
1. Choose a healthy ageing topic that is featured in a recent media
story (within the last 12 months if possible). This could be from
television, printed or online material.
2. Link the story you have chosen to the experience of ageing and apply
the analysis of the experience to one theory of ageing.

following options:

Option 2 – Continuity Theory
Option 3 – Erikson’s theory of psychosocial development.

gained).
6. You are required to provide (written) in-text references on your
PowerPoint slide and a separate reference list on your transcript.
7. Use APA 7th edition for your referencing system.
