My research is mainly about the impact of network language such as emoticons, acronyms and some new network words on the Intercultural communication competence of overseas students, whether it is positive or negative, and to what extent. And how the rapid development of network language affects their daily communication and academic writing.
As for the research methods, I plan to combine interviews and questionnaires, and all the participants are International graduate student from different majors in xx university.
