The purpose of this project is to compare and contrast physical activity to other forms of treatment for depression and anxiety.

The purpose of this assignment is to identify, summarize, and evaluate primary academic sources that
will be used in your project. For this assignment, you must provide a minimum of 3 academic sources (1 will
earn you a maximum of a C grade). Academic sources include:
 Peer-reviewed journal articles and chapters from edited academic books. This does not include
journal reviews. It must be actual research conducted by the author.
 Note the class textbook is a secondary source, not a primary source.
o An academic book includes citations and references.
 If you are not sure if an article or chapter is peer-reviewed or academic, email the instructor
to ask.
 An annotated bibliography example is provided in D2L.
You must provide an annotation for each of the sources you use. To earn full points, the annotation must
include three elements: (1) the purpose statement of your project at the top of the first page; (2) the source
reference in APA format (make sure your sources are in alphabetical order); (3) a paragraph that contains
pertinent information from the source and a description of how that information relates or is beneficial to your
project
