Research Paper Criteria
The research paper should be a three-page typed, double-spaced word-document about a publicly-traded company or corporation. You can select the organization. Find one that is of interest to you; tell me about it, how it formed, when it went public, how well it performs.
Reference at least two sources for your paper- You need to use reference material found via ACC’s library subscription on-line sources databases, i.e. Business Source Complete or from other library sources.Do not use encyclopedias, electronic encyclopedias, dictionaries, information from class lectures, or textbooks. Do not surf the internet (i.e. CNN.com) and draw sources from it.I need to be able to reference your source directly from alibrary subscription on-line source, or other library source.
Make sure to proofread your research paper. Assistance with research can be obtained from any reference librarian on any campus. Writing assistance is available in any learning lab on any campus.
Cite your references using the MLA or APA format, which includes a works cited page, which is not included in the four-page limit. Charts, graphs, tables, figures should be in an appendix and are not included in the four-page limit.
