Unit 1. Blog About It! Consumption, resources, and the environment: What you need to know.

Your responses should be comprehensive – drawing from all of the lessons and all of the concepts we have covered in that Unit. It is your chance to synthesize information and really show us what you’ve learned! We are expecting around 500-600 words – so twice as in-depth as a regular lesson reflection. A bit longer is OK but get to the point. We do not want to be bored reading it. Your responses will take the form of a blog post. The idea is that you are a blogger covering current issues in the field of Biorenewable Resources. It is up to you to choose the audience of your blog – are you writing to the general public? Your friends and family? Scientists or professionals? Let us know who your blog is geared towards in your first “post”. Remember to tell us who your audience is. The topic of your blog post will be “Consumption, resources, and the environment: What you need to know.” We want your reflection to be a thorough discussion that draws from all of the lessons and concepts we’ve covered thus far in Lessons 1-6. We are not looking for equal treatment of all lessons – you can select the concepts that are most exciting/interesting to you. We want you to synthesize information – don’t focus on just a single topic (e.g., writing your whole post on what the R/P Ratio is). Remember to write like a blogger! Your post should be interesting, informative, easy to read, and compelling.

When you are presenting facts, and you will need to, make sure to cite your sources!

We are expecting 500-600 words,
