You and a couple of your fellow college friends created a startup hospitalty business called Oasis Hospitality to generate money while in college. The hospitality company (start-up business) has been more successful than you and your partners expected, so you have decided to establish it as your full-time business upon graduation. While you all still live in Florida, you, your partners, and the company’s advisory board are not sure Florida is the best location. Therefore, you have agreed to research the issue, write an analytical recommendation report, and prepare a persuasive recommendation presentation. You will research Texas and compare it with Florida. Make up what your hospitality company is and write a brief introduction on your company.
VERY HARD ASSIGNMENT (MUST READ INSTRUCTIONS & LOOK AT DOCUMENTS) Write a recommendation report on why it will be best to move your hospitality start up company from Florida to Texas. Compare & contrast the advantages & disadvantages of the two states.
Look at the outline under documents to look at the advantages and disadvantges given and use the reasons and references if you want.

Prompt:
Using your research, compare and contrast Florida with the other state you
selected– analyze the advantages and disadvantages of the two locations.
Draw conclusions and recommend why Texas provides the best chance for your company’s long-term success—present your rationale, and acknowledge any disadvantages—be able to explain why you’d recommend Texas despite those disadvantages.
FORMAT:
1. Use headings and organize your report using the direct approach of stating
the problem, analyzing Why Texas is the best location in terms of the critical factors relevant to your company’s needs, and stating/justifying your recommendation. The report should be complete (i.e., provide solid evidence and support), and concise.
2. Include a minimum of two tables and two figures.
Introduce each table and graph in the paragraph before each provided table or chart for
easy reference. Name your figures, charts, graphs: For example —- Figure 1, Map 1….
Etc. Provide the source citation under each figure, chart or map.
3. References: To demonstrate that you are basing your analysis, conclusions, and
recommendation on substantive and credible evidence, include a minimum of TEN
DIFFERENT IN-TEXT references for secondary information found on outside sources, and
attach an APA- formatted reference list on the final page. Center the word References and
do not underline the word.
Limit your memo report to between 1,000 and 1,500 words (excluding
the memo headers, headings, tables, figures, and references).
Use the Times New Roman 12pt. font.
Create an appropriate page header and number the pages. See the student sample
provided with the assignment.
Use the memo report format—use the full-block format. Do not right-justify the
margins.
Use effective visuals to reinforce your points—see the text.
