Use information learned from the intro to human services and social work class and apply it to experience during volunteer work, working with young children age 0-4 years. different skills, abilities, therapy styles or techniques learned. Volunteer for 10 hours of service total during the semester at local community events, churches, organizations, etc. These could be different events or a single event. For the assignment, write a 1 to 2 page paper about how you used concepts from the course material during the volunteer opportunities. What did you learn from the experience? What things from class brought more meaning to the location you volunteered at? How might your current location improve? What do they do really well?
