1. The film shows how government policies have created unfair advantages for those who are white, resulting in a substantial wealth gap between those who are white and people of color. What examples of disparity exist in your community today? Will the wealth gap go away if we ignore race?
2. What moral obligations do individuals have to address institutionalized policies that give greater consideration to some members of society than others? Be sure to use ideas, concepts, principles from the “Moral Theory Summary” article by Judith Boss or other sources of moral thought to support your response. Do those who benefit from unearned privilege carry greater obligations to address these unequal policies?
