Assignment Overview
30% (300 points): Two 750-1000 word essays: You must complete two 750-1000 word (3-4 page) essays (2 essays x 150 points=300 points). These essays (12 point Times New Roman font, footnotes/endnotes, double-spacing, 1 inch margins, page numbers) will be based on primary sources related to our course materials. They are due before class on the days listed in the course schedule unless other arrangements have been made in advance. If you turn in an essay late due to an unexcused absence, you will lose half a letter grade for each 24-hour period it is late.
