What impact did the “guard shift change” experiment have on the behavior and power dynamics of the guards in the Stanford Prison Experiment, and what can this experiment teach us about group dynamics and power in correctional settings?

Here is the checklist and rubric for the final paper:
Final Paper Checklist
Before you turn in your paper, go through this checklist to make sure you are meeting the requirements of the assignment. Many small things are easy to fix. Use this as a guide. Attach it with check marks for each point that you have completed to your printed version of the paper.
Formatting
My paper has a cover page, with my name, the title of my paper, and my thesis statement, and the word count.
My paper is a minimum of 8-10 pages of text, double-spaced, size 12 font (not including my cover page or works cited/ bibliography page).
My paper has page numbers.
Mechanics
My paper has been carefully proof read for grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
My paragraphs are approximately 3-7 sentences long.
Quotations of more than 2.5 lines in length are indented and singled spaced as “block quotations.”
Every quotation is connected to a sentence – for example: Historian Cooper Owens argues,”…”
Proper nouns are capitalized (including names of people, institutions, laws, countries and nationalities).
Footnotes, if applicable, come after punctuation and quotation marks. E.g. “quotation.”[1]
In-text citations come at the end of the sentence or clause (Chicago Manual of Style 2018), before the punctuation (Campbell and Stark 2015, 4).
Content
Essay is a thesis driven analysis, that clearly answers the question, “why is this important?”
Sufficient background is given for a classmate to follow the argument and make sense of the evidence
Acknowledges and explores counter examples and conflicting arguments
Situates paper within a broader historical or sociological literature (i.e. discusses and relates to secondary sources in coherent manner)
Style
Quotations are used to provide evidence that will be analyzed, and are followed by sentences of my own prose that unpack and describe the significance of the evidence and how it relates to the main argument.
Quotations are not used to describe general background.
Quotations are used for particularly compelling passages of text from another author, where meaning would be lost if their language were not included.Guidelines for Structure and Formatting of Research Paper
