Part 1
1) Background information on your proposed topic (What terms related to the topic do you need to define? What is the general problem on the topic?)
2) Literature on the topic (What is known and what is unknown about the topic from past research? How will the project fill the gap?)
3) Significance of your proposed problem (Why is important to address the problem? If not addressed, what would happen?)
4) The purpose of your project (What do you intend to accomplish through your project?)
5) Your proposed research questions (What research questions do you intend to answer through your project? Ask open-ended questions with “what”, or “how”, or “why”.)
Part 2
1) Setting of the capstone project (Where will it take place?)
2) Participants (Who will be the participants? What will be your inclusion and exclusion criteria?)
3) Intervention (What intervention will you implement to address the research problem? What instruments (such as a survey or an educational training) will you use for the intervention?)
3) Data collection (What variables will you collect data on? What procedures will you follow to collect the desired data?)
4) Data analysis (Based on what you learned in this course, what data analyses you may perform to analyze your data?)
