Requirements:
Choose an incident from your past to describe that speaks to a specific topic or topics that we have covered in class. Since our focus is on antiblackness, you should choose an incident that relates to the term as defined in Anthony Farley’s essay, “Toward a General Theory of Antiblackness”
Describe the incident that you can recall and connect to whatever aspect of Farley’s essay best relates. Feel free to use Farley’s language to help you with your description—make sure to quote appropriately.
Reflect on your description and show how your personal definition of antiblackness has emerged as a result. Reference at least one other reading from class in your reflection.
The assignment should be 3-5 pages in length. Use 1 inch margins and 12 point font (I prefer Times New Roman). Double-space your work but do not leave an extra space between paragraphs. Please format as a continuous essay with your incident taking up not more than two pages.
Make sure to proofread your work to ensure that you present a polished assignment. Please provide a works cited page that identifies all the sources you used for the reflection.
