What’s next is: read all the stories below; pick one (some people might wish to write about two, though that’s more involved) and write an analysis paper; use Tutor.com for extra help and post your improved paper and tutor.com at the same time. This is due on or before April 12 on Discussion Board (DB). Please remember to check that the attachment opens and post a review of one other person’s work. For the latter, a helpful smart paragraph will do.

This kind of essay is literary and analyzes a theme. You choose the story and the theme. What are some themes? Nature, love, passion, ethics, greed and materialism, the hero, tradition and change, good and evil, money, sacrifice, family conflict, secrets, death, and more. Literary essays are far more analysis than summary, though you need both. Be sure to be an active reader and that you understand the story. (I’ll email some notes about these stories and authors soon.) As always, and for all your papers, a quote/s is required — that’s true for just about every college paper for every instructor.
