Introduction (1 page) Literature Review (2 pages) Methodology (1 page) References
The introduction should:
-Briefly explain the research background/the status quo of the social issue that you selected to study
-Explain the significance of the topic (why it is important/urgent to study this social issue)
-What are some potential solutions/findings that you would learn by conducting your study?
The literature review should:
-Include an overview of the subject, issue, or theory under consideration, along with the objectives of the literature review
-the empirical studies or articles related to your topic (e.g. works that support a particular position, those against, and those offering alternative approaches entirely)
-give an explanation of how those empirical studies are similar or varies from each other;
-give an explanation that which empirical studies are best considered in their argument, are most convincing of their opinions, and you would agree with your research project
-make sure that you review several articles and link them together to support your research hypotheses; in this project, you should have at least two research hypotheses
The Methodology should:
-Have three sections. The first section is the Sampling; the second section is the Variables; and the last section is the Research Design.
-For the sampling part, you should list your study population, your potential sample (including the sample size and sample unit), and which sampling method you will use
-For the variable section, list the dependent variable in your project first, then give the measurement level of this variable, briefly explain how you will measure the dependent variable. If it needs a survey question, give one/or more survey questions as the example. Then list the independent variables in your project, give the measurement level for each independent variable, briefly explain how you will measure each variable. If it needs a survey question, give one/or more survey questions as the example.
-For the research design part, you should list which research design (classic experimental, quasi-experimental, cross-sectional, or pre-experiment only…) you will use in this
