After reading the text, your task is a one-page (minimum, double spaced) reading response in which you can reflect on what you found interesting, useful, or problematic in the reading. You might think of the response as a reaction to the reading or what was on your mind as you read it or what you considered after you read the text. You may also connect your thoughts to other aspects of class material.
One or more focusing questions related to the reading are provided, but they are not required to use to form your response. Maybe these focusing questions will help your writing and thoughts to get going, or maybe you go in a different direction; both are fine.
Focusing Questions
- What writing technique that Lessner and Craig presented stood out to you and why?
- What aspects of the article did you relate to the most, or what was new information?
- What does it mean that writing is recursive?
