For this essay you will write a 1200 word critical analysis essay on two of the texts which are been upload. Your essay should focus on finding specific examples from the texts and analyzing them to explore deeper meanings. This is not a research assignment, so no sources aside from the stories may be used. I suggest you do not search online for any “ideas” to avoid risk of plagiarism – do your own critical thinking.
Your answer should use each text in a balanced way – in other words you cannot basically write about one text and mention the other only briefly. You should have main points / major content related to each one.
It could be a compare and contrast essay. But it doesn’t necessarily have to be. Your main claim (your thesis statement) should involve both texts so it will likely be pointing out that they are similar, different, or both. They should relate to one another in some way. You’re not just writing two small essays and gluing them together. But it’s your choice how you want to structure it.
