For the final paper you will be asked to develop your outline proposal into an APA style paper. You should incorporate the sources you referenced in your outline. The paper should be between 7 and 10 pages, not including the cover, references and any appendices you wish to add, Times New Roman, size 12 font, 1–inch margins, double spaced, no extra spaces between paragraphs. Please do not deviate from these formatting requirements on any paper or written assignment submitted in this course.
The body of the paper should be a ‘white paper’ outlining your proposed agent. You may organize the paper as you like but it should include a detailed description of your agent, its benefits, who will use it, how it will be used, your philosophy behind its development and the history of its component parts. By history, I mean which aspects have already been developed; make sure to reference your sources, and which have yet to be invented. I’m not interested in the detailed technical descriptions, e.g. circuitry or interfaces, just in the concepts and how well you have thought about the final product and how it will come together to make a unique and useful system.
You should use examples when appropriate to help the reader understand how each aspect of the project works and interacts. As per the outline, all of A.I. characteristics need to be a part of the system.

For the final paper, please prepare an APA style proposal that describes in detail the problem that your agent/program/robot is designed to address. Provide a background about why this is a problem, using references and citations from other sources that describe the issue.
Also, describe in narrative (paragraph) form the abilities and characteristics of your agent.
Do describe how specifically the agent would learn, which tasks would it evolve based on its interaction with the environment including other bots, programs, people, or data sets.
Do make sure to really describe the agent’s/bot’s intelligence and adaptability to its incoming stimuli. Make sure that you use the proper terminology used by others who have created specific components of your agent and define what you mean. When in doubt, clarify any points that might need clarity. Keeping with the rules of APA style writing and citation, also make sure that someone who has not taken this class can understand what you mean.
